CHALLENGE
How can a power plant replace an outdated heat tape and heat transfer cement temperature maintenance system without a major shut down?

SOLUTION
Delta-Therm's flexible constant wattage cable was installed during routine maintenance on pipes. The cable was covered with an aluminum heat transfer tape to help spread the heat around the pipe.

RESULT
This is the first plant in the United States to be a 20-year life extension and will remain open through 2034.
