FW Floor Warming Cable
Single conductor FW floor warming cable consists of high tensile strength stranded alloy conductor wrapped with 4 mil Kapton®. The conductor is encased in silicone rubber rated at 302°F (150°C). An aluminum braid, equivalent to 16 AWG, is woven over the primary insulation to serve as a ground path. Another layer of silicone rubber is extruded over the aluminum braid to provide additional electrical insulation. Cable output produces a nominal watt density of 15 watts per square foot when installed on 6" centers.
