According to A.S.H.R.A.E and the U.S.D.O.E. electric resistance heating elements convert nearly 100% of their energy into heat. You can install your MI cable on our energy star rated F15A thermostat. The F15A has a built-in energy meter so that you can record and monitor your systems energy usage.
Since you embed an M.I. radiant heating cable in a deep concrete thermal mass to store and radiate the heat over time it will consume less electricity than other electric systems.
low maintenance
With only moving (the relay in the thermostat/relay panel) this is one of the most efficient and low maintenance radiant heating systems available.
