energy efficient
According to ASHRAE and the U.S.D.O.E. electric resistance heating elements operate at near 100% efficiency. This system turn on at its fully rated wattage output and is very more efficient when installed on automatic controls and customized to your precise heat output.
low maintenance
There is only one moving part in your roof deicing system. The spring loaded switch in your contactor panel should be periodically checked for corrosion. You should also check that the moisture sensor is clean before the start of the winter season and gutters are clear of leaves.
