self-regulating cables
Self-regulating cable varies its wattage along its heated length in response to changes in ambient temperature. You can use Delta-Therm self-regulating cables for freeze protection and temperature maintenance applications. You can cut to length and field terminate Delta-Therm self-regulating cable. You should control your cable with either an ambient or line sensing thermostat. The thermostat will activate the cable when the temperature falls below its set point.
We supply four series of self-regulating cables for normal and hazardous locations: TT Series, CO Series, IN Series, and HT Series.
constant wattage cables
Constant wattage cable provides a continuous wattage output along its heated length and is therefore easy to monitor on current. You can use Delta-Therm constant wattage cables for freeze protection and temperature maintenance applications. You can cut to length and field terminate Delta-Therm PowerTrace constant wattage cables. Delta-Therm mineral insulated heat trace cable assemblies are factory terminated. The thermostat will activate the cable only when the pipe temperature falls below the set point.
We supply two series of PowerTrace constant wattage cables for normal and hazardous locations: PF Series and PT Series.
We supply three types of M.I. cable: seamless copper sheath, seamless copper sheath with extruded high density polyethylene overjacket, and seamless Alloy 825 stainless steel sheath.
