DELTA-THERM TESTIMONIALS
The following are some unsolicited comments from our clients.
"Delta Therm's name came up pretty fast as somebody that could do this. It was complex and there were a lot of things that were new. Nobody had done some of the things before."

If we have maintenance scheduled on a valve, all we do is untape it and pull the cable out of the way, and then when we're done working, retape the cable back on. It's so flexible you can tie it in a knot. This is a major benefit to our personnel.

Eliminating 60 GFIs - starting at $300 per device for three ramps - trimmed the final bill by as much as $18,000. This also eliminated the nuisance tripping common to GFIs, relieving the City of Des Plaines of having to locate and reset the device if it goes off line in foul weather.
S. Haran - Project Manager and Senior Electrical Engineer for Des Plaines Parking Garage Project
The home is over 100 years old and used to be almost impossible to heat. The heated floor is great for Wisconsin winters and takes the chill out of the air. Maintenance was one issue that we looked at and I do not have to worry about the system breaking down. I know it will have a long life..
T. Casper - WI homeowner on Delta-Therm floor warming systems.
The decision to use snow melt was based on the locations of the ramps coming into the building. The majority of have steep inclines and a lot of traffic, and basically the decision was made that it's difficult to plow when it's snowing and a big hazard once it becomes wet. It was a safety issue and an easier way to do it too.
C. May - Head of Maintenance for the main branch Chicago Post Office on Delta-Therm snow melting systems
You have to have moisture and cold in order for it to come on. You could have either a cold slab or cold air but if there's no moisture, it wouldn't be on. On the other hand, even if snow is not falling, if people are bringing it in with their cars, the sensors are situated so the runoff from cars would show up as moisture, so you don't get buildup from people driving off the street with it.
G. Hicks - Senior Project Manager for main brank Chicago Post Office snow melting system
Traditional plowing and salting of 75,000 square feet of parking lot and sidewalks was not feasible. We couldn't afford to do it that way from a practical standpoint or a dollars and sense standpoint. You would have to have people standing by waiting for snow. We never even considered it as an option. The savings was well worth it when we opted for Delta-Therm's embedded electric snow melting cable and control system.
R. Carlisle - Site Developer for upscale mall and lifestyle center read the article from Chain Store Age Magazine...
It's a much cleaner look on the building and it uses only about a third as much cable so it actually comes in less expensive for installation costs.
T. Siebert - Project Manager on Big Hollow School Hidden Roof Deicing Project read the case study...
The snow melting driveway system has vastly improved my quality of life. Instead of spending hours snow blowing my driveway, I get to spend time with my kids. Since it’s fully automated, I don’t even have to think about it.
