Delta-Therm holds a Patent for M.I. heating cable assemblies, and was the first to achieve a UL Listing for snow melting applications in 1970. Our M.I. cable has demonstrated an effective lifespan of up to 30 years, and withstands temperatures to 1100F. Delta-Therm snow melt systems can be installed in concrete, asphalt or sand for pavers.Unlike hydronic systems, heated cables run only when snow is present (100% efficient), have fewer components, and require little maintenance.  Outdoor connections can be eliminated 95% of the time. All components are tested before assembly, and come with patented factory termination.Post-installation wiring inspections will extend the warranty period of Delta-Therm M.I. cable to 10 years.
